ADP Compliance Specialist in Barcelona, Spain

ADP is hiring a Business Compliance Specialist

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated Compliance team to help protecting ADP’s business and clients against one of the major compliance risks: the use of third-party services. In this context, we are looking for someone able to explore and assess the risk inherent to the use by ADP of third-party payroll providers, with this particularity that our providers manage our clients’ most sensitive information: their employees’ payroll data.

In this context, you will be responsible to ensure that our vast network of third-party payroll providers meet regulatory requirements as well as ADP’s exact quality, ethical and security standards, by conducting and following up on periodic compliance assessment activities. More specifically, you will provide support on due diligence, perform risk assessments, KYC reviews, screenings and identifying potential risks.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

What you can expect on a typical day:

You will perform compliance impact assessments on our third-party payroll providers and conduct due diligences on our third-party payroll providers to identify potential risks and identifying ways to mitigate the risks.

You will report and document findings of any potential risks, red flags or misalignments and recommend action items.

You will collaborate with our ADP third party payroll providers to ensure implementation of the recommended actions items.

You will coordinate with business units across ADP to ensure compliance with OFAC guidelines.

You will also support the further development and maintenance of the existing ethics and compliance program, including anti-bribery, due diligence, and other compliance matters.

You will follow up on data retention process according to data protection and privacy policies.

You will also assist with special / ad hoc compliance related tasks, as required.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

You have a bachelor’s degree in law, in Business Administration or related fields. Or, alternatively, you have between 1-3 years of proven experience in a compliance, legal or audit role.

In addition:

You have a strong knowledge and understanding of compliance business risks and related regulations.

You are fluent in English (oral and written), as your role will involve constant written and verbal communications with internal and external stakeholders across the world.

You have an analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail. We need someone who excel in identifying cause-and-effect relationships, identify patterns and interpret data.

You are an effective problem-solver. We are looking for someone who has an innovative approaches to handle the problems at hand but who is also able to anticipate problems that will arise in the future based on trends, patterns, experience, and current events.

You have written and verbal communication skills. Your role will involve the need to explain and simplify complex concepts or ideas so that internal and external stakeholders with less technical or compliance knowledge will be able to easily understand.
