The Electronics Calibration Technician will travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. The Field Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. Candidates should be a self starters and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer and math skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
· Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment including:
· Calibration of weight scales, pin gages, plug gages.
· Mechanical T&M equipment: (Torque Wrenches, Calipers, scales, pressure gages)
· AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters etc.)
· Temperature & Humidity devices (data loggers, environmental chambers, ovens)
· Generating T&M equipment (panel meters, Meggers, Insulation testers, controllers)
Requirements:
· Candidates should have previous experience using test and measurement equipment.
· Working knowledge of basic dimensional measurements, calipers, micrometers, length indicators.
· Knowledge of basic AC/DC circuitry is preferred.
· Commercial or Military experience will be considered.
· Ability to lift and move 60 lbs unassisted daily.
· The position will require daily travel with up to 10 overnights per month, including occasional weekends.
· Travel will include both driving and flying.
· Field Service Technician shall provide their own cell phone with data plan for connection to ATS email and multi-factor authentication.
