Operations Specialist, Europe
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This position requires a highly organized and cross functional candidate to control all Operational Support for adidas Golf Europe. This position is a pivotal link between Sales and Service executives (SSE) and the European Distribution Centres (EDCs) and requires the candidate to be able to liaise and work with external vendors, freight carriers and customers. They will also be required to work internally between departments so good communication skills will also be a high priority.
Oversee all outbound logistics
Manage key account/ and Value added service (VAS) outbound processes until the end
ASSIST superuser for all outbound-returns enquiries and complaints, claims – liaise with SSE if necessarily
Daily outbound reporting
VAS implementation projects
Be the first point of contact for any escalations
Manage ad-hoc / exceptional shipments
Forecast outbound shipments including VAS
Monitoring KPIs and cost-effectiveness
Certify that VAS to key account orders is correct and performed on time
Weekly and monthly forecasting for all inbound and outbound volumes for all warehouse
Monitoring cost and KPIs for freight providers and ensuring steps are taken to keep on track against budget and SLAs
On Time in Full (OTIF) Reporting
Working closely with order book-fulfillment
Manage / oversee consignment stock transfer to cresting vendors
Export shipment support to cresting vendors
PO placing and management for 3PL vendors
Inbound monitoring and liaising with inbound teams at various EDC’s
Adhoc holiday cover for the rest of the team
- adidas Golf Europe Senior Management, adidas UK logistics team (based in Manchester, UK), 3PL cresting providers.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Ideally educated to A Level or equivalent standard
Knowledge of golf desirable
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
Office environment with occasional travel
Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.
