OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
As the office administrator you will play a vital role in managing administrative tasks with a focus on fulfilling the procurement activities for various departments. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing daily office operations, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Looking for someone who is resourceful with a can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and coordinate office administrative Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and review, evaluate and implement new procedures as required.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of purchasing documents and reports
Utilize accounting/ERP system to maintain accurate records related to purchasing and inventory.
Process invoices, expenses, and purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist in the preparation and management of operating/purchasing budget
Troubleshoot IT issues or escalate them to the appropriate support personnel
Collaborate with various departments including Accounting, Engineering and Facility personnel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Post-secondary education (business, administration, liberal arts)
Minimum 1-year experience in office administration or related field, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Minimum 1-year of purchasing experience and experience using an ERP
Expert proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel

Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Experience with ERP systems and inventory control processes
Good judgment and initiative are required to resolve problems and make recommendations
