ASM Global Box Office Supervisor - Raising Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Job Description

The Raising Cane's River Center / ASM GLOBAL has an opening for a Box Office Supervisor, responsible for assisting the daily operations of the Baton Rouge River Center box offices including all aspects of ticket operations. The position, located in Baton Rouge, LA.

Duties Include:

  • Oversees all ticketing accounts regarding daily receipts, cash handling, etc.

  • Resolves customer service issues related to ticketing transactions.

  • Monitors, tallies and updates total tickets pulled and value of tickets for all trade agreements.

  • Prepare executive sales reports.

  • Prepare nightly deposits and reconciliations for the box office and all deposit logs for the facility.

  • Insures the facility receives accurate rebate income from events.

  • Updates ticket sales and rebate income on facility event settlements and flash reports.

  • Maintain organized box office event files and evaluate events to use them as references for future shows.

  • Liaison between promoter representatives and the facility.

  • Assures that box office money handling procedures are maintained in accordance with ASM policies.

  • Conducts new hire training and annual box office training of all box office ticket sellers.

  • Builds new shows on the Ticketmaster system.

  • Ensures proper on sale and pre-sale times and codes.

  • Updates the Box Office Information sheets.

  • Abides by all ASM policies in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual, the Business Code of Conduct, and the Cash Handling Procedures.

  • Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions and leave work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

  • Must have a commanding and demonstrative understanding and knowledge of all of the above.

  • Process group sales orders and comp requests.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered through the course of employment.

  • Operate standard office equipment and personal computer(s) using MS-DOS, MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and the Ticketmaster operating system.

  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.

  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.

  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Physical requirements include walking, stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for extended periods of time.
