Description
Our client located in Port Arthur is looking for a well-rounded Senior Accountant to join their team. Great opportunity with lots of visibility with operations and senior leaders.
Our client is a subsidiary of a global publicly traded company that offers energy management services.
Primary responsibilities:
• Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries.
• Complete month-end close.
• Review account reconciliations prepared by corporate GL team.
• Preliminary financial statement review and analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Assist Controller with annual financial audit.
• Assist Controller with annual budget.
Requirements
Bachelor degree Accounting or similar
3-5 years of Accounting experience
Preference with Oil & Gas background
Analysis background, able to review P& L and assist with forecast and projections.
