As an employee at MEC, you will be responsible for transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned. A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include: Coordinates material movement between departments per the routing requirements. Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials. Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves. Process required paperwork using RF (Radio Frequency) system when/where available. Supply production area with needed materials from inventory. Sorts questionable materials per Quality Control\'s request. Prints and distributes pick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary. Organize sequence of pulling material and relays information to Material Support. Ensures production schedules are met by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions. Ensures good communication and feedback with management, employees on their shift and between shifts. Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in the department as necessary.
