Day to Day Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
Reduce batch variability and improve melting performance through mixing process improvement initiatives and projects
Optimize and operate weighing/mixing/crushed/raw material equipment
Technical analysis of weighing/mixing/crushed/raw material processes
Raw material quality control& closely communication with worldwide team
Measure raw material /glass sample for physical and chemistry data
Raw material / Cullet lot management and change
Evaluate statistical control for composition measurements and associated need for batch adjustments
Process troubleshooting of Batch and Lab
Co work with worldwide & tech engineering team for process improvement and trial , including EEP/ECN/PDC
Education & Experience
Manufacturing/Experiment/Engineering environment experience desired
2+ years in glass, steel, lab or machine manufacturing is preferred
Bachelor or above degree in Chemical, Material or Mechanical discipline, Mechanical and Material discipline is preferred
Required Skills
Strong English capability (verbal and written)
Strong Office and PC operation skills Familiar SPC tool
Experience with Six Sigma / DMAIC principles is prefer
Strong communication and execution skills
Knowledge of ISO management system & Quality assurance
Knowledge of Process trouble shooting & prevention & data-drive, and root cause finding
Continue improvement and active learning
