Amazon Operations Manager, GM Field - John Anfinson in Beijing, China

Description

Global Logistics Operations Manager will be member of Global Logistics China team. He/She will manage Milk Run operations in China for selling partners and uphold the highest standard of Amazon business.

Key job responsibilities

This position will be responsible for: 1) Milk Run truck planning to optimize cost; 2) Milk Run operation excellence to secure the KPIs and metrics; 3) Work closely with business team, product team, and other supporting functions to expand milk run service scope; 4) Process improvement and standardization among LSPs to improve logistics efficiency and service quality; 5) Support new initiatives/programs/system features launch to drive speed, cost, and quality.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain, business, economics, or other quantitative discipline

• 5+ years working experiences of industry (Logistics/freight forwarding/Supply Chain industry/Broker/Customs agent)

• Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills, and a strong customer focus

• Strong verbal and written English and Chinese

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) and Solid data analysis skills

• Strong communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams to meet operational performance goals and project goals

• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to details, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Analysis and proposal of data-driven solutions for business

• SQL and Macro writing skill, truck planning tool automation experience

• Inland transportation market knowledge and experience is a plus

• 6 Sigma and Lean mindset
