Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Work closely with cross function team, including sourcing, supplier management, supply chain, service, to drive the cost down solution for IGT product.
Leads all VCP projects, to implement aggressively.
Buildup VCP roadmap and planning for execution.
Drive team to apply low-cost solution to all IGT sites.
Identify and implement new design to drive cost down for IGT.
Engaging in all phases of new product design and introduction, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
Leads critical mechanical design. Lead technical design review for concept solution, detail design and evaluation result with global team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline 8 years' experience with mechanical design and demonstrate excellent project management within engineering team. Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s. Demonstrated experience driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins. Demonstrated competency in providing leadership and direction to cross-functional program aspects and resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent (defined as 8 years' experience within engineering, including 3 years project leadership experience within manufacturing, development, or research development) Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change. Sound technical and domain experience in at least one functional technology area. Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent knowledge in engineering, project management. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task. Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation. Demonstrated LEAN skills.
