Description
We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. The role involves overseeing the company's global accounting policies, closely working with cross-functional teams, and directly liaising with external auditors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing monthly accounting close procedures and reviewing payroll activities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development and documentation of the company's global accounting policies
• Manage the monthly accounting close procedures, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, analyzing and explaining fluctuations and variances, and reporting financial information to management
• Coordinate and review US and global payroll activities, including quarterly and year-end activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners such as Finance, Operations, Tax, and Technology teams to maintain communication and provide support
• Work with technical teams to resolve issues related to unprocessed system transactions
• Review and approve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, including assessing, concluding, and documenting accounting treatment for transactions as well as contracts review and assessment
• Recommend, develop, and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability, and identify and implement controls to address gaps in the control process
• Directly work with external auditors on accounting positions and external filings
The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Corporate Policy and Policy Development
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Demonstrated Leadership Skills
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
• Experience with Variance Analysis
• Extensive knowledge of Financial Reporting
• Familiarity with International Payroll and Payroll processes
• Experience in Contract Management
• Demonstrated skills in Process Improvement
• Knowledge of Internal Control systems
• Experience with External Audit procedures
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA certification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
