Hyatt Regency Bellevue, set in downtown Seattle's Eastside, features a high-tech conference center with over 70,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a sloped auditorium and executive boardroom. Our guests can host a convention, trade show, or reception in our stunning, divisible 17,745-square-foot Grand Ballroom and 13,755-square-foot Evergreen Ballroom.

The Assistant Event Services Manager will be responsible for managing banquet events at the hotel.In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and inspecting the assigned Banquet and setting up staff's performance, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests. Directs, implements, and maintains a service and management philosophy that guides respective staff. This role is a highly detailed role within the hotel to complete event requirements and create an appealing experience for guests.

This position has a salary compensation ranging from $67,800-$95,700. It is budgeted between $67,800-$70,000.

Qualifications:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

• Refined verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Previous Supervisor experience in Serving, in Banquets is preferred.

• Proficient in basic computer skills
