We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Principal Product Manager - Tech to join our Amazon Warehousing & Distribution team. This is an opportunity to work in a customer-facing startup like environment within Amazon. You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from our customers, identify the right opportunities to help us accelerate at scale, and innovate faster for our customers. Key job responsibilities

As a Sr PM-T, you will own customer research, benchmarking, strategy, and execution for your domain. You will define the product roadmap and bring your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, scientists and other product owners. You will drive day-to-day product development from design through to release. Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria. You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules. You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities and escalate when necessary without damaging relationships. You independently represent your products and the product team and are comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders

A day in the life

In this role you will drive the strategy and roadmap for solutions that enable the movement of inventory across Amazon's supply chain efficiently. You will be working with world class data science and engineering partners to achieve the same.

You will regularly work cross-functionally and will share and drive best practices across the broader organization. You will be an active mentor and force multiplier, educating broader team members on leading practices.

About the team

The Amazon Warehousing and Distribution team aspires to become a best in class 3PL offering in the year 2024 that drives significant benefits for our customers, sellers and Amazon itself. We like to innovate and move fast in an ambiguous setting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent

  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
