The Senior Business Analyst will support the rapid growth of this initiative by developing key business metrics, analyzing and improving labor strategies, and partnering with internal stakeholders to drive the business. In this role, the candidate will be focused on highly analytical and strategic projects driving results within the middle mile and last mile spaces.
This role is seated in Nashville, TN or Bellevue, WA.
Key job responsibilities
Identify the necessary metrics to increase understanding of the business, proactively identifying pain points or opportunities through systemic measurement.
Present qualitative and quantitative analysis to key stakeholders by blending advanced reporting and project management skills.
Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, SQL and other data management systems. Partner with Analytics teams for complex data sets.
Monitor existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
Drive medium to large operational enhancement projects.
Up to 10% travel required.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with Excel
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience with SQL
Experience operating strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
