Design, develop and modify software applications and systems and related duties as assigned by the Company's engineering management. Perform application development for mobile applications and backend utilizing Java and Objective C and related technologies. Review code and code quality. Build robust, lasting, and scalable software products. Modify existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware and/or improve performance. Perform Unit testing and Unit test fixture for new and existing applications. Customize automated and advanced tools for the Company's data storage infrastructure that spans across multiple data-centers. Required education/experience: Master of Science or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or related field plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation; OR Bachelor of Science or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or related field plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Required Skills: Academic knowledge and/or professional experience: Programming languages (at least three of the following): Java, Objective C, C, C++, C#, Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript. Development tools (Proficiency in at least one of the following): Git, Gradle, IntelliJ, Google App Engine. Operating systems: Mac OS, Linux. *Knowledge/experience means knowledge/experience sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Base salary: $182,312 - $228,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus award. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
