If so, our team is searching for a Sr Software Engineer to work with other software engineers, network and systems engineers to craft, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments. Our team actively participates in architecture and design of various software components and is passionate about crafting applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms. We work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, understanding implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. Job Responsibilities:Technical Engineering Services: Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation. Leverage ServiceNow to automate workflows, enhance IT operations, and improve service delivery. Design, implement, and troubleshoot Event Management solutions to support business operations. Manage and optimize Event Management processes to ensure proactive issue resolution with minimal downtime. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Perl or Python to streamline processes and enhance system performance. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating across teams to drive continuous improvement. Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in IT infrastructure and telecommunications. Innovation: Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which use new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service. Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives. Understands the creation of company IPR. Technical Leadership: Collaborates with technical teams and applies system expertise to deliver technical solutions. Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies. Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions. Technology Strategy: Contributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals. Understands current technology that supports business goals.
