Key job responsibilities

This is both a strategic and tactical role to define and deliver our program improvements to solve the operational and financial opportunities of the 1.1 billion package United States Postal Service (USPS) Destination Delivery Unit (DDU) program for North America. We are looking for a customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial program leader with a strong delivery record to join the ABTN Under the Roof (UTR) Product & Strategy Team to help drive improvements in SC-DDU Fill Rate.

As part of the ABTN UTR you will partner with senior leadership across Amazon operational, technical, and financial teams to coordinate and implement strategic actions to cut cost and reduce waste across truck and container fill rate in the SC-DDU Network. You’ll work in a fast paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business domains. The individual in this role is expected to have excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. This role will require 25% travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
