Job Description
Oracle Observability and Management(O&M) is a suite of next-generation integrated monitoring, management, and analytics cloud services that leverage machine learning and big data techniques against the full breadth of the operational data set. O&M Platform helps customers improve IT stability, prevent application outages, increase DevOps agility and harden security across their entire application and infrastructure portfolio.
Career Level - IC3
Responsibilities
7+ years of Experience in observability tooling working with likes of Splunk, New Relic, Data Dog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or similar, delivering solutions and integrating systems and existing or new applications with Monitoring, Log Analytics and APM tools.
Provide pre-sales support for active opportunities by providing subject matter expertise, architecture diagrams, proof of concepts, and other strategic activities to win new business.
Scope of work includes:
Logging/Log Analytics
Metrics Collection, Storage and building dashboards - security and monitoring
Alerting
Show knowledge of Automation and orchestration tools.
Understanding of systems, network, storage, identity and web technologies is a must.
Experience with Agile and SCRUM-based projects or working with rapid and iterative technical design/implementation projects
2+ years’ experience working with Java and/or Python.
Experience working with and utilizing Cloud technologies - IaaS and PaaS – especially if OCI, Azure or AWS would be a plus
Experience with Oracle DB is a plus
Experience with JSON and working with RESTful APIs
Experience with OS scripting and administration in Unix, Linux, and Windows
Knowledge of basic networking components and concepts. Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues.
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Excellent communication and presentation skills
