Position Overview:

The Boeing Company is looking for a Lead Product Support Change Management Engineer , for Electronics Product team located at Bangalore, India . Boeing India Engineering to ensure all required templates and reporting is aligned for all business reviews such as: Change Impact proposals, Technical Decision Board Reviews, Technical Package Signoffs, Data Management, Product line execution.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

You will be responsible for the change management upon product sustenance of fielded electronics hardware and its firmware for avionics application in close co-ordination with software, firmware, mechanical and certification authorities. You will engage into data management, its change process and its approvals in a timely manner to sustain the products at factory and customers. You will work with other concurrent engineering teams such as software and certification authorities to deploy change packages through technical review boards.

  • Develops or supports product team leader with data management upon change proposals.

  • Tracks timely completion of request for authorization to change existing artifacts used in production with correct change impact analysis data and its impacted stakeholders

  • Identifies, analyzes and reports change package closure.

  • Conducts Engineering change board reviews.

  • Helps product line execution through templates, documentation closure, process baseline, tools management baselines, technical document releases.

  • Conducts Review boards for product line process baseline and its upgrades

  • Responsible for posting and uploading documents into appropriate PLM systems for factory, in service and other stakeholders as applicable.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required.

  • 13+ years of direct project management experience using PLM tools for data management across various functions of engineering

  • Had convened and deployed Technical review boards for change impact analysis reviews and decisions

  • Experience with FAA (commercial) or defense airworthiness certification requirements and good understanding of CAR Requirements

  • Experience with workflow generation for document approvals

  • Good understanding of Document tree, component specifics and part selection processes

  • Experience with software and firmware change management process

  • Experience in doing product changes through documentations with certification authorities

  • Experience in document and its subset understanding as per Aerospace processes

  • Experience in industrial standards like ASME, IPC and so on to validate the completeness of a manufacturing document.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility within INDIA.
