Oracle Production Service Systems Administrator 3 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Hands on experience in DBA (12c/19c) is mandatory

Hands on experience in Weblogic administration is mandatory.

Hands on experience in in DB patching and upgrade.

Monitor and optimize system performance.

Thorough knowledge of DB Performance, SQL Tuning.

Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL code review.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the database and application level.

Ability to develop and troubleshoot shell scripts as needed.

Expertise on RMAN and backup processes and operarion.

Expertise one in Oracle Database RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden Gate.

Experience with Enterprise Manager for monitoring and administering mission critical databases.

Experience in any Unix shell script, Perl script and Python.

Expertise in backup and recovery and migration using RMAN, datapump and export/import.

Hands on experience in Database migrations to cloud.

Work with Product Management, Product Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data.

Engineering teams to find the optimal way to scale applications and the infrastructure.

-> Experience in Design, implement, and manage complex FMW environments (24x7 standalone or cluster Environment)

-> Experience in Optimizing server configurations for performance, scalability, and reliability.

-> Experience in Leading major upgrades, migrations, and deployments of WebLogic servers and associated applications.

-> Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams and documentation.

-> Architect solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, load balancing, security and monitoring

-> Evaluate and implement best practices for WebLogic Server performance tuning and optimization.

-> Experience with configuring SSL: 1- way SSL and 2 – way SSL configuration , Queues, Topics, Distributed Destination, Foreign JMS providers, Message Bridges, JDBC connection pools, Data Sources

-> Oversee the deployment and management of mission-critical applications(SOA/BPM/BAM/BPEL) on WebLogic servers.

-> Provide expert-level support for complex application issues and performance bottlenecks.

-> Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application integration and deployment.

-> Implement and manage monitoring tools and processes to ensure server health and performance.

-> Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to proactively identify and resolve issues.

-> Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.

-> Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues involving WebLogic Server and FMW application environments.

-> Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent recurrence of problems.

-> Experience in SOA Administration.

-> Monitoring and administration SOA components.

-> Manage and lead WebLogic-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.

-> Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

-> Advanced knowledge of FMW architecture, administration, and performance tuning.

-> Strong expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems, including shell scripting and automation.

-> Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations.

-> Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders.

-> Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and enterprise application integration.

Responsibilities

Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software. Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status. Coordinate escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or third party vendors to resolution and coordinate a storage infrastructure of Oracle system and database appliances. Responsible for Oracle production environments; assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching; and work on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack while providing consistent system uptime as expected in a Cloud environment. Provide on-call support, on a rotating basis.
