Job Description
Deep experience with Java or other JVM based languages.
Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing.
Solid understanding of technologies like Spark, Hadoop Map Reduce, Crunch, etc.
Past experience of building scalable, performant, and secure services/modules.
Understanding of Micro Services architecture and API design
Experience with Container platforms
Good understanding of testing methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD technologies.
Experience with observability tools like Spunk, New Relic, etc
Good understanding of versioning tools like Git/SVN.
Responsibilities
You are the builder here. You will be part of a team of inquisitive, motivated, and a diverse group of people and given the autonomy and support to do your best work. It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you’ll belong and be encouraged.
You will work with teams of software engineers for the software design, development, and operations for our new and products. You should architect systems interactions, be hands-on, be able to investigate into any part of the stack and have a good sense of cloud infrastructure and networking knowledge. You should value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be zeal to learn.
Our Principal-level engineers are also the people who can work independently and provide technical leadership to the broader organization. You should have experience developing and operating high-scale services, and an understanding of how to make these cloud-scale services resilient. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements. You understand operational excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team.
