Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, coding, testing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that align with our business needs. In this hybrid workplace, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the Salesforce platform effectively supports our operations and business processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse complex business requirements and provide expert input on Salesforce solutions
Work with the Architects and other senior engineers within and other teams to help define scalable functionalities and through innovative designs provide high-quality development.
Write quality code to implement complex custom functionalities using apex, Visualforce, configuration, Lightning Web Components etc
Oversee and participate in customisation efforts, making sure declarative tools like Flows etc are used effectively
Implement complex integrations with other systems and applications using APIs, middleware, and connectors
Collaborate with global teams spanning multiple time zones to ensure, coordination, and project success.
Develop complex data solutions within Salesforce, including data modelling, ETL processes, and data migrations
Manage complex deployments of Salesforce configurations and code, ensuring seamless transitions between environments
Ensure comprehensive documentation of complex solutions, including technical specifications, data models, and release notes
Lead efforts to monitor and optimise the performance of complex Salesforce applications, including code optimisation and query tuning
Stay at the forefront of Salesforce technology by researching and evaluating new features, tools, and industry trends for potential adoption
Collaborate with other senior team members, administrators, business analysts, and project managers to lead complex projects to successful completion
Experience with Industry standard Repo tools like GIT, Jenkins
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Salesforce Developer certification (e.g. PD2, Salesforce Architect Certifications - completed or on path to Application/System Architect certification)
2 - 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitations
Experience with Sales Cloud and Sales processes
Experience of working on complex Sales Cloud project
CRMA knowledge will be beneficial
Experience with Salesforce integrations and data management
Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce development and design patterns
