Amazon Visual design lead, Brand and Creative, Amazon Fashion in Bengaluru, India

Description

The Visual design Lead for Amazon Fashion will work on the conceptualization and execution of all visual creative content for Amazon Fashion, from initial design concepts to final on site execution. This covers the entire gamut of on site communication with the customer. S/he will co-own and be responsible for the visual identity of Amazon Fashion. S/he will define the visual language, create design concepts for each season, work on photo shoots to create the necessary imagery and finally create the graphics that will be the store front for Amazon Fashion to the customers. This is a fast-paced role with an abundance of creative freedom. A creative powerhouse with a strategic mindset and endless creative energy are all key to being successful in this role.

Visual Design lead who will lead design thinking and manage execution for fashion categories.

Key job responsibilities


· Lead a unified design, tone, and voice to create effective, insightful and highly fashionable imagery for Amazon Fashion.
· Lead the development of clearly articulated, contextually appropriate, and unified communications

· Recruit and lead a team of passionate designers.
· Collaborate with creative team members to guide concept, brand, and copy direction

· Work in close collaboration with Marketing, UX, and Business Development to create and execute marketing campaigns
· Communicate and present your team’s work appropriately to the company and community

· Leverage data in a way that informs your design decisions




· Collaborate with marketing teams to help hone and understand the messaging strategy, in conjunction with brand copy guidelines. Evolve and flesh out that style guide with robust testing and real world learnings

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders at various levels and in different locales to drive alignment

    • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
    • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
    • 5+ years of marketing experience
    • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • · Online Portfolio that demonstrates Art capabilities. · A strong industry background is a must. 7 to 10 years of experience in the advertising or social media industry leading creative design

    • Experience in fashion industry or having worked on fashion brands
  • · Extensive exposure to a deadline-driven creative production environment. · Bachelor's degree in design and professional experience.

  • Preferred qualifications

  • · A keen awareness of current trends in fashion, design and communication · Communication and presentation skills: The candidate needs excellent communication (written and verbal) and confident presentation skills in order to pitch ideas and also explain their ideas to members of their creative team. · Understanding of Brand visual identity/design · The ability to utilize data-driven insights in developing design strategy · Leadership skills: Leadership skills in order to hire, develop and oversee their creative team. · Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead, supervise and execute production projects from concept through delivery. · Excellent written/verbal/presentational communication skills

    • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience with CRM tools and systems that can be leveraged to drive customer engagement - including but not limited to Adobe, Salesforce, Unica, Marketo, Exact Target, Braze, etc.

  • Experience building, executing and scaling digital programmatic campaigns from concept to completion
