Support the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) organization through global procurement strategies regarding Whirlpool's Supply Chain agility and resilience journey. Work closely with senior business leaders, legal, and other procurement teams to analyze, develop, and drive category sourcing strategy and respective initiatives to deliver breakthrough results in terms of cost savings, free cash flow, and supply base rationalization. Deliver maximum value by defining best in class supplier services to support existing and new business requirements, ongoing cost productivity, and new projects implementation. Drive negotiation strategy, best practices, and continuous improvement through spend analytics and market research. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that sourcing strategies meet those needs. Lead problem-resolution efforts between suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role is highly cross functional and requires the ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed global organization design. Support/lead Local, Regional, and Global initiatives to deliver company imperatives. May work from home up to 2 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the offered position or a related position.
