We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a cook. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food handling in a food service /catering environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared according to food safety standards
- Prepare meals for inmates in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow dietary restrictions and special requests when preparing meals
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
-Following items would be great but not required. On the job training available.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity in food service operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload
