Description
The Lead Maintenance Technician (LMT) has full responsibility for the overall maintenance of Assistance Plus buildings, grounds and vehicles. The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for highly diverse duties and overseeing the maintenance of all physical aspects of the Assistance Plus locations. The Lead Maintenance Technician will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support and achieve the Agency’s business goals and objectives. The Lead Maintenance Technician will perform work of routine difficulty under limited supervision complying with OSHA safety, health rules, and local and Maine State building codes and inspections.
Offices are located in Wilton, Waterville, Winslow and Benton.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum of five years experience in maintenance
Strong mechanical skills
Ability to lift up 100 pounds
Ability to crouch, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of time
Willing to respond to after hours emergencies as needed 24/7
Knowledge and experience with hand tools
Knowledge of OSHA regulations arerequired
Successful completion of professional references and criminal background checks
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Valid state of Maine driver’s license
Proof of $50k/$100k auto insurance
Travel to all satellite locations
