The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) works as an intermittent employee under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse and the direct day-to-day supervision of the county Caseworker. This position does not have a set regular work schedule, but will work only on an as-needed basis for client assignment. This position provides non-skilled care for program eligible frail elderly and disabled persons (clients) in the clients? homes while adhering strictly to the client?s plan of care and agency policy. Therefore, the Personal Care Assistant should have ability to show interest, kindness, consideration and care for elderly and disabled citizens.
