What you can expect
Our unit Business Reporting I is responsible for the development of reports using BI-tools, as well as for the development of back end structures for BI-data consumption.
Within this framework, you develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analyses and other strategies.
You modify databases according to requests, perform tests and design conceptual as well as logical data models and flowcharts.
Further, you optimize DB-performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
You liaise with your IT colleagues to improve applications and establish best practices.
Finally, you locate and define new process improvement opportunities, suggesting new database products and services.
What we expect
university degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and ideally work experience as a data engineer or database developer
understanding of Database Design (SQL), Data Collection, Data Warehousing and Data Transformation as well as a good understanding of ETL (Alteryx, Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory)
creative and motivated team player with sound English skills to communicate with external as well as international internal partners
comfortability in working in multinational interdisciplinary teams and preferably international experience, and keen interest in innovations
Flexible working hours so that you can organize your working and private life according to your needs.
Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
