Job Summary:

The Education Program Coordinator will provide quality education for the Medical Assistant program. They are responsible for the development, planning, organizing and implementing of courses and programs. Research will be done to determine the educational needs and programs will be developed to meet these needs. Provide marketing materials to promote these programs.

Position Responsibilities:

Schedule and arrange instructors to provide quality educational programs. Serve as a principal resource for information, support and quality control.

Responsible to recruit, interview, hire and train/coach instructors. Provide mentoring and development opportunities and oversee and evaluate the performance of the instructors.

Develop, monitor and modify programs to meet the needs of the MA program. Work collaboratively to market and promote the program.

Responsible for maintaining, processing and filing required paperwork.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience:

3-5 years of experience as a Program Coordinator

Experience in program development and implementation.

Required Education:

High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Training / Certification / Licensure:

Current certification as a Medical Assistant.
