Summary: This position is responsible for performing a variety of
routine administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the
office. Key tasks include typing professional correspondence, data
entry, organizing and maintaining records, handling telephone
communications, greeting visitors, sorting and distributing mail,
preparing shipments, photocopying, maintaining files, generating
reports, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, ordering
supplies, and performing other duties or special projects as assigned.
This position also is responsible for supporting the efforts of the
purchasing manager and processes within the purchasing department. This
position will assist with vendor/partner processes, receiving &
maintenance of purchase requisitions as well a purchasing and cost
management for supplies, materials, repairs and equipment as needed.
Responsibilities:
Type professional correspondence, memos, and other documents.
Perform data entry and organize records.
Maintain detailed and accurate order entries.
Operate a switchboard or answer a multi-line telephone, handle routine
inquiries, direct calls, or take messages.
Communicate on the radio system.
Greet and direct visitors.
Sort and distribute mail and faxes.
Prepare UPS and Federal Express shipments.
Photocopy documents and maintain files.
Generate reports as required.
Schedule meetings and coordinate travel reservations.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Supporting the efforts of the purchasing manager and processes within
the purchasing department.

purchase requisitions as well a purchasing and cost management for

Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in standard computer applications,
including generating simple letters, spreadsheets, and graphics, or
creating simple queries and formatted data output.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
Special Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
multi-tasking is essential.
This role requires a highly organized individual with strong
communication skills who can efficiently manage multiple tasks and
priorities in a dynamic office setting.
