In this role, you have the opportunity to

be at the forefront of building and maintaining strong relationships with the assigned suppliers with the focus on key elements of the total cost of ownership, owning umbrella agreements and leveraging mutual synergy opportunities, developing the supplier to a level of functional professionalism (Supplier Development).

You are responsible for

150M€ Global spend and suppliers for the MR (Magnetic Resonance ) & DXR (Diagnostic X-Ray) & OEM Business Unit. It includes Cost, Quality/Regulatory and deliveries. The scope of the spend are dedicated to the factories and the service organization. As part of the procurement transformation, the GCM will act as a real Leader and strategist, ensuring :

  • An End to End suppliers strategy definition and execution considering optimization for the Business Unit, with the scope of both manufacturing and also the service.

  • The Global Supplier Account Manager (GSAM) will also challenge and optimize the suppliers footprint and regionalization in order to secure the best TCO.

  • The GSAM will work closely with Product Sourcing Engineering, Supplier Quality and Supplier Transfer Engineering Team to ensure the 1st time right through NPI and robustness of total life cycle management. In this aim, the GSAM and will work hand in hand with the Procurement Business Partners, the Procurement Program Managers as well as the Service Procurement Business Partner. Inclusive, he/she will drive continuous improvement challenging status quo and proposing creative options to the internal stakeholders.

You are a part of

The global MR&DXR&OEM Procurement Leadership Team, and you will be strategist to lead and drive the assigned categories and suppliers strategy with strong collaboration together with BU procurement, Product Sourcing, Supplier Quality, R&D and MFG globally.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Preferred Master's degree in a technical domain (engineering)

  • Strong product knowledge of image technologies

  • Ideally procurement or commercial experience, but not a must

  • Min 10 years of relevant working experience

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and Communication skills

  • Can-do attitude and be willing to work under high-pressure

  • Be willing to take regional and internal travels
