Operational Lead Buyer MR
Your role:
• In this role you will be responsible for securing material availability for production and customer orders by purchasing materials from external vendors, while taking quality and impact on inventory into account. As a lead buyer, you will also support other buyers in escalations, continuous improvement projects and other activities to help the team grow. You have the opportunity to be part of the Operational Materials Management (OMM) team supporting Business Unit MR systems in our factory located in Best. It is one of the main Operations sites for Health Systems within Philips worldwide. Our organization is driving operational excellence and manufactures, refurbishes, repairs and ships our medical devices & components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner.
You will be part of the Operational Procurement team, reporting to the Operational Procurement Manager of Magnetic Resonance (MR). The Operational Procurement team is part of the Operational Materials Management team which is responsible for all planning, purchasing and inventory for MR site Best. In this role you will work with a lot of different stakeholders in the supply chain (external vendors, planning, production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement) to ensure material availability.

You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)
1. Must have 3-7 years' experience in similar (process industry) supply chains
ERP experience (SAP is a pre), MS office experience, English communication skills (Dutch communication is a pre)
Must have bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant fields (master's degree is a preferred)
You have good communication skills, are a team player, have a proactive attitude, good analytical skills, strategic end-to-end thinking and have a can-do mentality
