We are GDIT. We stay at the forefront of innovation to solve complex technical challenges. GDIT is seeking an Order Fulfillment Specialist to support National Library of Medicine (NLM) at Bethesda, Maryland.
At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As an Order Fulfillment Specialist supporting NLM IT Support Services, you will coordinate activities in fulfilling purchase requests.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaborating with Order Fulfillment team members to support NLM customer with mobile and IT needs
Assisting with planning, directing, and coordinating activities in fulfilling purchase requests for IT assets.
Working with 3rd party vendor for direct ordering of mobile devices and accessories, reviewing and validating monthly invoices, and managing customer data base.
Providing timely and accurate order processing, including but not limited to order entry, price confirmation, deployment of IT assets, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
Engaging directly with IT tech support personnel, customers, and management to resolve customer problems and provide customer service support as needed.
Conducting research and resolving customer issues and inquiries
Working directly with IT support personnel to assist customers with mobile phone set up and activation
Providing weekly or monthly reports on productivity, asset inventory, and maintain accurate customer records.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
BS/BA (or equivalent) and two years related experience
Minimum of two years customer service experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Minimum of two years of experience working with mobile phone vendors
Minimum of two years of experience working with mobile devices (i.e. ipads, Androids, phones, MiFi)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NIH Public Trust
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Working knowledge of ServiceNow
Working knowledge of MobileIron
Experience working at NIH
