Aston Carter Buyer/Planner in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Main function/Job Description:

  • The Buyer/Planner manages the systemic supply plan for the portfolio of externally manufactured finished products. she/he will maintain data integrity of static planning parameters and transactional data elements to ensure that the system accurately reflects the current situation in the physical supply chain at all times. She/he will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and EO/IO Planning Analysts to monitor and manage suppliers’ plan attainment, as well as Supplier performance and coordinating priorities. Planning, preparing, and executing Purchase and Distribution Orders or inventory purchased/transferred from multiple internal & external suppliers. Manage inventory in line with Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and Latest Estimate Forecasts (LEF).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of buying/planning experience

  • Proficient with MRP, ERP systems

  • Experience with purchase order maintenance, quality assurance, demand planning, and negotiation

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred, or experience in lieu of a degree.
