Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Machine Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with knowledge of setups and programming who wants to further their skills. You will be running a CNC machine and some manual machines, producing custom parts for our machine building operations. You will be trained by an experienced machinist to ensure you are well-prepared for the role.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines and manual machines.
Produce custom parts for machine building.
Perform setups on CNC machines, even if they are simple.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Learn and apply feeds and speeds for machining processes.
Understand and use G&M codes.
Essential Skills
Some CNC operation experience or relevant schooling.
Understanding of feeds and speeds.
Knowledge of G&M codes.
Experience with performing setups, even if simple.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CNC programming at the machine, especially for simple parts.
Manual machining experience.

Work Environment
You will be working in a smaller, laid-back shop that is not a traditional machine shop but has a dedicated CNC department. The atmosphere is blue-collar and supportive, providing a great environment for learning and development.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
