Zurich North America is currently hiring a Lease Management Manager and this person can work remotely. This person will report to the North America Head of Lease Management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create budgets and forecasts in collaboration with Real Estate Portfolio Managers and Finance.

  • Perform as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Lease Management reporting tools with the ability to explain variances from prior periods and assist with data validation.

  • Manage accounts receivable from subtenants and take needed action for collections as required.

  • Review and approve rent payment files and approve invoices for subtenants.

  • Review, screen for sanctions and approve vendors for leases.

  • Review and prepare Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests for ZNA and monitor for Farmers.

  • Oversee operating expense reviews and audits.

  • Review and approve all Lease Abstracts.

  • Review and approve Estoppels and SNDA documents.

  • Oversee Property Tax Appeals and Audits.

  • Manage vendor relationships and provide cost savings report compared to target.

  • Oversee IFRS16 reporting requirements and approve and validate cash flows and lease data.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and 6 or more years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate area OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, and 8 or more years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate area OR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate area AND

  • Experience with Commercial Real Estate Leases and Subleases and accounting principles.

  • Experience with Real Estate database programs.

  • Experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable databases.

  • Experience in working with Landlords and Subtenants, including dispute resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong Analytical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Knowledge of accounting principles

  • Experience in working with outsourced service providers.

  • Experience with IFRS16 financial reporting.

In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply, as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary rangefor this position is $85,500.00 - $140,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
