Job Description

Summary:

The Sr. Application Software Engineer will be responsible for delivering Bose audio solution to infotainment system of Bose automotive customers, including requirement analysis, software development, technical interfacing and trouble-shooting. The candidate is required to interact with customer, port and integrate Bose DSP algorithm (digital signal processing) features to customer's hardware, e.g. head unit or amplifier.

Requirements: 5 years of experience developing real-time embedded software. Expert in software design, coding and debugging. Must have knowledge of embedded C. Understanding of software engineering practices, and advanced software concepts. Outstanding customer technical interfacing, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills . Prior experiences with software development on SoC and DSP cores, such as ADI Griffin and Qualcomm Snapdragon. Ability to work with head unit supplier, amplifier provider and customer. Open to domestic and international travel up to 25%. Ability to support the application software team on functional design, implementation, integration and SW verification

Preferred Experience: Automotive industry experience Working experience with AutoSAR and low-level driver Linux and/or Android software development for automotive Prior experiences with automotive networking protocols such as CAN, MOST, Ethernet AVB and A2B

Tools: Oscilloscope Logic Analyzer Debuggers Emulators JIRA defect tracking

Education: BS in Engineering with Software development focus MS is preferred
