Job Title: Production Associate
*Environment: Manufacturing facility*
*Description: We are seeking detail-oriented Production Associates to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will contribute to the production of aluminum products, working safely and efficiently while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.*
*Responsibilities:*
Prepare the working area for production
Operate machine-based equipment, including saws, punch presses, and milling machines
Utilize hand and power tools effectively
Read and interpret basic shop drawings, measurements, fractions, and decimals
Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management
Maintain a clean and safe production floor, managing waste and materials
Assist in quality inspections of products and report defects to management
Follow safety procedures and utilize proper safety equipment
Participate in cross-training opportunities within various departments
Perform other duties as directed
*Shift:*
3rd shift, 6 PM to 6 AM
12-hour rotation: 36 hours one week / 48 hours the next
Every other weekend required
*Qualifications:*
Previous experience in manufacturing or fast-paced work environments preferred
Experience with machine-based equipment and basic hand tools
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Attendance and safety are critical factors for evaluation
