Description
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida, within the insurance industry. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including dealing with vendors, handling network and infrastructure tasks with a specialization in storage, and participating in Azure cloud migrations.
Responsibilities:
• Handle vendor relationships confidently and effectively
• Manage a broad range of infrastructure tasks with a focus on network engineering and storage
• Participate in Azure cloud migrations and other projects
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of project timelines and deliverables
• Exhibit leadership qualities and take initiative in driving projects
• Maintain and configure network systems including Cisco technologies, routers, and ASA
• Work with border gateway protocols (BGP) and checkpoint systems
• Utilize AB Testing and Backup Technologies in relevant tasks
• Manage data center operations and configuration management
• Handle computer hardware related tasks
• Attach storage to virtual machines as required
• Document processes and maintain accurate records.
Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is essential
• Experience with Checkpoint is required
• Ability to work with Cisco ASA is necessary
• Familiarity with Cisco Routers is a must
• Knowledge of Cisco Technologies is needed
• AB Testing skills are crucial
• Expertise in Backup Technologies is important
• Competency in Computer Hardware is required
• Experience in Configuration Management is essential
• Familiarity with Datacenter operations is necessary
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a must
