Role description:

Ensure accurate budget control of Trade Spend investment, providing timely and accurate reports to the budget owners. Work as a business partner of the marketing team by fully understanding business performance, with data-driven advice and mid-term forecast accuracy.

Accountabilities

  1. Business partnering to marking team. Represent FP&A team in key marketing sessions.

  2. Prepare and deliver financial reports to business partners providing high-quality information to make decisions and assure proper budget control.

  3. Analyze monthly financial performance and investigate variances between rolling forecast and actual figures as well as understand main variances against yearly plan and previous year.

  4. Participate in the financial cycle which includes an annual operating plan, monthly projections, and balance reviews.

  5. Coordinate and consolidate the monthly forecast with all budget owners to ensure a timely report. Find opportunities and risks and conduct meetings or action plans to align the final figure to report.

  6. Prepare month-end closing activities including journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications as well as budget control over the internal orders.

  7. Work closely with budget owners providing support and training to guarantee adequate adherence to the process.

  8. Keep Process Documentation actualized and accurate.
