Purpose of the Position:

This is the senior level of the Administrative support roles in the organization.  Like the Administrative Assistant 1, the purpose of the position is to support sales and operations in all administrative responsibilities, provide customer service to both internal and external customers, and process data to provide all operational departments with necessary information and documentation to complete work orders.  Additionally since this is the senior level, the incumbent will work more independently, use data/experience to resolve issues, provide training and work direction to other Administrative personnel and be assigned to work on more complex tasks.

Major Duties:

  • Develop Data and utilize to make recommendations

  • Will be assigned role of resolving complex problems with little to no review by management

  • Provide work direction and training to other department administrative personnel

  • Maintain daily auditing to resolve discrepancies, errors or omissions

  • Review branch paperwork to assist in resolving missing data for receiving’s, certifications, etc.

  • Research certification issues for internal and external customers

  • Compile certification packets to go to customers

  • Batch assembly

  • Monitoring incoming requests folders from inner office departments

  • Answer and direct phone calls

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in administrative role

  • Office, customer service and phone experience preferred

  • 10 Key and data entry, speed and accuracy is required

  • High degree of proficiency Microsoft Office knowledge and experience with other software applications preferred  - demonstrated ability to develop complex spreadsheets, develop presentations and project plans

  • Ability to compose written communications based on general information

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on information that you develop  

  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle workloads of varying volume.
