ELECTRICAL ENGINEER MID-LEVEL (GENERATION) - REMOTE
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
- POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and support electrical engineer on the design of power generation projects
Lead and support electrical engineer on the design of renewable energy projects
Lead and support electrical engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades
Lead and support electrical engineer on federal electrical system upgrades
Mentor and teach junior engineers
Project proposal and budget development
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical engineering
Electrical PE License
6-8+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.
5+ years of relay coordination and schematic design
CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
Desired Education/Experience:
Master of Science or MBA
Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus
5+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
5+ years of owner engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus

DOE Salary: The pay range for this position is $108K - $120K annually; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
