The Facilities Electrical Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., is responsible for coordinating electrical system activities involving electrical distribution up to 35kV, emergency generators, voltage sag mitigation, UPS, and power quality systems in our high-volume manufacturing fab and other process buildings to ensure there is no impact to site or manufacturing operations. The Electrical Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes work associated with asset management, scheduled maintenance, system modifications and new equipment installs to include all outsourced services. This position also works closely with the operations crew on system operation and is the primary interface between Micron and any outsourced services vendors performing service, maintenance and operations on these systems ensuring they do not cause impacts, affect quality. Assists with distribution level switching to move loads that allow for maintenance and modifications. Responsible for commissioning activities in the new fab and in sustaining operations.

Proven ability to communicate complex analysis in a succinct and actionable manner

Proven skills in working effectively with team members from different disciplines

Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups

Demonstrated ability to organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams

Demonstrated critical thinking skills

Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency

Strong partnering, negotiation, and team-working skills with team members from different disciplines.

Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively to all audiences

Strong understanding of data extraction, data analysis and reporting methodologies

Education and Experience:

Required: Minimum – Relevant degree or appropriate certifications/licensing and 2 years electrical maintenance experience, or 5 years of electrical maintenance experience

Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of electrical maintenance experience
