The Facilities Electrical Supervisor at Micron Technology, Inc. is responsible for managing and developing technicians that are responsible to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, modify and repair site wide electrical up to 35kV, controls and fire alarm systems. This team interfaces with outsourced services vendors that perform a variety of maintenance and inspection.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Your scope will include maintenance and operations on new and existingstate of the artelectricalsystems

  • Interact with other facilities teams including engineering, other operation technicians, and fabstakeholders

  • Enable your team to utilizea CMMS system to plan, schedule and document maintenance activities and calibrations

  • Full understanding of NFPA-70 and 70E and local codes

  • Maintains applicable subject area and technical knowledge to make informed decisions and drive area improvements.

  • Manage daily operations – Ensure the team completes PMs on time, responds to alarms and equipment failures, maintains equipment and tools in working order, track certification/training progress for team members, and drives team accountability.

  • Develops procedures and training to ensure team performs the work safely, correctly and consistently.

  • Leads shift/area cost reduction activities

  • Drives a culture of Safety and Quality using TPM, Facilities Disciplines, PM procedures and certifications. ​

Successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Ability and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts with a shift rotation every 4 months.

  • Passion for safety and flexibility to multi-task in high-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal, written communication skills, time management, organization, and prioritization.

  • Skills to work well in a dynamic team environment that includes strong partnering and teamwork where all employees feel empowered to achieve their full potential.

Education and Experience :

  • Required Minimum: Related technical degree, appropriate certification/license or 3 years electrical maintenance experience. 1-year supervisory experience

  • Preferred: Valid electrical license, 2 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of technical experience.
