Meta Loss Control Area Manager in Boise, Idaho

Summary:

This is an opportunity to join the loss control team as an Area Manager!

Required Skills:

Loss Control Area Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation and refinement of a Construction Loss Control Program to enhance our safety and risk management program.

  2. Manage and provide direction, training, and mentorship for onsite construction teams and internal Meta stakeholders to implement effective safety processes.

  3. Manage and coordinate site level loss control efforts.

  4. Collaborate with our internal teams to monitor the safety programs on project sites, and maintain a method to achieving a zero-incident environment.

  5. Provide managerial oversight for regionalized loss control staff.

  6. Manages consistency on jobsites, ensures collaboration, and measures efficiency.

  7. Measure effectiveness of area’s safety efforts, and reports on region’s cross-functional outputs.

  8. Ensure internal processes are followed and align expectations for best-in-class safety performance.

  9. Provide effort and input on global initiatives and programs.

  10. Be actively engaged in maintaining cross-functional relationships to foster cooperation and enhance safety endeavors.

  11. Up to 50% travel throughout our build program

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, or equivalent Health and Safety degree from an accredited university and/or minimum of ten (10) years professional experience in construction industry mainly focused upon Health and Safety.

  2. Experience working in North America building codes and health & safety regulations.

  3. Minimum 5+ years of experience directly managing safety staff.

  4. Experience working within a comprehensive safety program.

  5. Demonstrated success in implementation of Environmental Health & Safety enhancement programs.

  6. Experience partnering with team members and contractors to implement change.

  7. Demonstrated industry knowledge to understand the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems as related to data center construction processes.

  8. Understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design-build process and associated documents and contracts.

  9. Experience with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements.

  10. Experience with retrofit projects in live mission-critical environments or occupied spaces.

  11. Demonstrated experience with communications with reporting skills.

  12. Experience with Micorosft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  1. Certifications recognized by Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).

Public Compensation:

$144,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
