Micron Technology, Inc. has an opening for Wet Process Equipment
Development Engineer in Boise, ID. Job Duties: Install, start up and
continually improve cutting edge semiconductor processing hardware both
internally with process engineering and externally with vendors to
enable Microns leadership in next-gen memory. Success is derived through
equipment innovation, partnership with the process development team and
effective project management of vendor resources to achieve benchmark
equipment performance. Equipment Development Engineers use creative
experimental techniques and have access to a full suite of semiconductor
analytics lab equipment and on-board system diagnostics to solve
outstanding technical challenges. Provide CAE and CFD support through
build of state of art CFD models. Support design progression and
evolution with multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Perform advanced
CAE and CFD simulations to evaluate and enhance specific equipment
design attributes. Perform post-test reviews and corroborate the CAE and
CFD predictions to test results. Conduct optimization studies by
utilizing optimization tools, including DOE/DFSS techniques on
components, assemblies, or equipment designs to meet performance
requirements with the constraints of mass and cost.
Requirements: Employer will accept Masters degree (or foreign
equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering or related field.
