Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead Scrum Master to drive agile delivery practices for one or more IT development scrum teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. The Delivery Lead Scrum Master will facilitate scrum ceremonies, manage 90-day delivery plans, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver project requirements. Transparency and data-driven decision-making are key, as the Delivery Lead Scrum Master will use metrics to inform stakeholders and leadership of project progress.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies and ensure agile practices are followed within IT development scrum teams.

  • Manage deliverables and dependencies, maintaining up-to-date and transparent 90-day delivery plans.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align team objectives with business strategy and maintain a prioritized backlog.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on dependencies such as architecture and DevOps.

  • Own and manage agile metrics for sprint planning, process improvements, and reporting.

  • Maintain accurate project status in accordance with organizational processes.

  • Ensure Jira or equivalent tool is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or technical discipline is preferred.

  • Proven experience leading high-performing Agile teams.

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in IT software development.

  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (i.e., Jira and Confluence).

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and make timely decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail and task completion.

  • Organizational skills with a focus on quality.

  • Ability to foster innovation and problem-solving within teams.

  • Proficiency in problem-solving within your domain.

  • Collaborative approach across cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of customer needs and product objectives.

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality products.

  • Agile Scrum Master Certification is highly preferred.
