$4,000 sign on bonus if eligible. This is a daytime Lead position which will work a 5 day, Sunday-Thursday schedule. Fridays and Saturdays will be days off. The main responsibility will be to carry the 'house' pager and answer calls immediately. This position will assist in allocating daily work assignments, creating schedules and making necessary changes, accomplish assigned tasks.

Job Description:

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE LEAD

  1. Carries pager during assigned shift and answers calls immediately. Will be able to clean emergency discharges, clean up spills, broken vases, delivery of linen etc. 2. Assures follow up is handled with appropriate action plan.

  2. Orients workers in cleaning methods and in using materials at lowest consumption to produce most effective results.

  3. Assists supervisor in introducing new equipment and cleaning methods by demonstrating techniques and procedures.

  4. Observes quality of work being done in all areas of housekeeping responsibility. Reports conditions that do not meet standards to manager.

  5. Responsible for seeing to it that all rooms, surfaces, and furniture are in good condition.

  6. Determines whether refuse disposal is done in a safe, sanitary manner.

  7. Periodically inspects supply closets and housekeeping utility closets located in various areas of health facility for cleanliness, orderliness, and adequacy of supplies.

  8. Participates in all EVS in-service training, department meetings & safety meetings.

  9. Works with basic computer programs and TDSS device.

  10. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
