About the Role
As a CBRE Procurement Principal, you will provide expert-level strategy and direction to the team that designs, evaluates, and provide reports on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of suppliers and vendors. This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.
What You’ll Do
Develop, plan, and put in place sophisticated contracting and procurement strategies and roadmap based on business goals. Present results of reports to Sr management, along with their relative impacts on the business.
Manage high-value RFP processes, solution selection, and negotiations. Supervise the supplier and contractor certification process
Collaborate to develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the client, including sourced categories, category strategies, savings commitments, service improvement ideas, and transition/implementation plan.
Partner with Finance to outline potential value, risk, and ROI for proposed initiatives and track as needed.
Assist with the development of policies and procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials on sourcing
Communicate the supply chain solution in a compelling manner via written proposal materials, Q&A responses, and presentations.
Developing achievable yet competitive financial and service commitments, and a workable plan to meet them.
Work with strategic suppliers and vendor partners to solidify their cost and quality commitments.
Work to pre-identify required resources; mitigate transition risk.
Move client accounts to a new supply chain to help the operations team succeed. Participate fully in the transition governance and START process.
Own inputs of critical steps, timing, and resource requirements into the overall account transition plan.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility, preferred.

Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Procurement BTO, Sr. Consultant position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement BTO, Sr. Consultant position is $155,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
