Program Coordinator III - (240004YU) Description The MassHire Department
of Career Services (MDCS) is the designated State Workforce Agency (SWA)
charged with the administration and oversight of \$150 - \$200 million
active employment and training grants funded through the U.S. Department
of Labor (USDOL) and state funding. MDCS primary responsibility is to
provide oversight of the MassHire Workforce Development System comprised
of 16 Local MassHire Workforce Development Boards (MWDBs) and their
network of 29 MassHire Career Centers (MCCs). MDCS is charged to
synthesize a system characterized by a myriad of workforce structures
with laws, conditions, and regulations for 20+ programs and special
grants that are categorized by frequently conflicting priorities. Strong
and consistent communication is essential to ensure a streamlined
delivery of quality workforce services to create and sustain powerful
connections between businesses and job seekers through a statewide
network of employment professionals to ensure a better future for the
people and businesses of Massachusetts through meaningful work and
sustainable growth. The State Monitor Advocate (SMA) reports to the
Central Programs Director and aligns with the FMO team to monitor and
evaluate Wagner-Peyser- Employment Service operations. The SMA also
monitors each Center to ensure that Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers
(MSFWs) have full access to and receive services \"This position
